Business Showcase Hancock County CEO 2023
Lake Hill Winery hosted the eighth annual Hancock County Creating Entrepreneurial Opportunities (CEO) Class trade exhibit on Tuesday, May 2.
This year’s cohort is the largest and most diverse in the program’s eight-year history. All four county high schools were represented in the CEO Class of 2023, and their vitality and enthusiasm are unparalleled, according to Christine Murphy, Hancock County CEO Facilitator.
It highlighted 18 students and enterprises.
The Hancock County CEO Trade Show is the culmination of a year-long accredited entrepreneurship course that uses public-private partnerships to connect a community with its finest resource – its youth.
The Hancock County CEO Class is open to all juniors and seniors from the four county high schools, as well as students who attend education at home. The trade show emphasizes each student’s individual business and allows attendees to meet the students, learn about their personal enterprises, and gain insight into the CEO program.
The event is free to attend and accessible to the public. The Hancock County CEO Program is supported by the Carthage Area Chamber of Commerce and the Carthage Industrial Development Corporation.
