How climate change became the primary concern of local governments 2023

In the first episode, I had a conversation with Seyi Oluwashina, a 25-year-old employee of Siemens who explored the attitude of Gen Z-ers in manufacturing, what attracted him to his firm, and how manufacturers may recruit more young people. Oluwashina works at Siemens.

In this episode, I would like to introduce you to Sevann Bignon, a process improvement specialist who works for DeAngelo Marine Exhaust in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Sevann is 23 years old.

Bignon freely confesses that becoming an employee of a manufacturing company was not on his mind while he was attending the University of Miami to study management and business law.

But Bignon found himself working for a marine metals fabricator after a college mentor told him about a manufacturer that was looking to build a culture that utilized process improvement strategies.

There, he spends the majority of his time on the production floor attempting to increase capacity and streamline the company’s process. Bignon was able to land this job after hearing about the manufacturer from his college mentor.

According to Bignon, the most of DeAngelo’s workers are between the ages of 40 and 60, with the exception of a few who are under the age of 30, and he stated that it may be interesting to witness how people from various generations interact with one another.
